if rocking the drum solo in Phil Collin's "in the air tonight" while showering is wrong then i don't want to be right.

Blogging is weird. Bloggers are weird.. I like it.

I know I posted a video of this Auburn TD earlier this week, but this one has no commentary and all you can hear are the fans and their explosion when Lewis made it to the end zone.
Gives me chills.
Of course I am linking up with Whitney for #backthatazzup Friday and I will be backing it up all day because this girl is off work!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now it is my pleasure to introduce you to some of my favorite bloggers, Kate and Adam from The "Florkens," the amazing husband and wife blogging duo that I can't get enough of!
1. Tell us a little bit about the idea behind The "Florkens."
Kate: The blog or the name? The blog was an idea that originated when I was studying for the bar exam this past summer. While studying, I would take mini-breaks and cruise around online for entertainment to take my mind away from collateral estoppel and personal jurisdiction. I found some blogs I liked, and with time, the idea developed to start our own!
Adam: Kate took all initiative with putting together the blog. I just hopped into the passenger seat of this crazy creative caravan of hers. As for the name "Florken", well I'm insane and a bit of a wordsmith...so one day whilst on a daydreaming adventure I played around with fusing our two last names together. Tada...we're the FLORKENS!
2. What is it like blogging WITH your significant other? Who decides what to post when? Who is in charge of reading emails, coming up with topics, etc?
Kate: For the most part, I carry out the day to day administration of the blog. I deal with the sponsorships and promotions via Twitter and Facebook. We each come up with our own posts each week -- sometimes we get an idea from watching TV together, or just a conversation we have before bed. If I have comments on a post, I answer all the emails in conjunction with it and Adam does the same for comments on his own posts.
Adam: Kate is my editor-in-chief. She runs almost everything and tells me when my posts are due by. I usually have to write a few posts on topics of my choosing and have her look through them because undoubtedly there will be some less attractive subject matter that I chose to babble on about. She tries to keep the blog sexy and I try to not screw up that plan haha.
3. If you won a million dollars, what would you do with it?
Kate: I would want to pay off my law school loans first! Then, maybe I'm just old and boring, but I would want to find a good tax lawyer and invest it wisely. In reality, a million could go really fast if you aren't careful.
Adam: Well I have no debts (unlike the ole' ball and chain here). Sooooooooo, I guess I'd let Kate do the whole investment dance because she is really clever on how to make money go further. Of course once we established a steady revenue stream we would do the usual...pay off family debts, retire to a scenic house, punch a shark, play golf on the moon, etc.
4. What are three things you couldn't make it through the day without and why?
Kate: My animals, my iPhone, and my husband. Are those all super cliche? Oh well, it's true. I love waking up to Deacon snuggling in the bed with us, Parker wagging her tail in her kennel, Gabby prancing across the edge of the tub while you shower, and Jasper begging for his food bowl to be filled. Work is usually hectic, but I escape with my iPhone and check up on the blog throughout the day! And lastly, is there anything better than coming home to a man you love who usually, has dinner in the works and your wine glass filled? I think not!
Adam: Well I'm going to say family is #1 (see here Kate, I didn't use two things when one would suffice). After that I would have to say a metabolizable source of energy (carbohydrate sources are good) and oxygen to serve as the terminal electron acceptor in the aforementioned metabolic process. That nerd enough for ya?!
Kate: Christmas Day itself. You see, it's on a Wednesday this year and I will have to work the day before and the day after. So, we have an excuse to NOT travel and just stay home together. I can't wait to wake up, bake cinnamon rolls, watch movies, play with the pups, and just spend a day together.
Adam: A break from work. I enjoy vegging out on my couch to binge-watch Netflix or a cup of hot coffee/tea paired with a good book. Work kind of screws with my extracurricular lazy plans. That's why I'm grateful that once every year the holiday season rolls around and we all get a brief reprieve from career responsibility. Keep the presents and turkey because all I want for Christmas is...the sweet sweet liberation from all things worky and to be shrouded in the warm embrace of lazy-tude. Sorry I got a little misty-eyed there for a sec.
6. Lastly, share a few of your favorite posts with us!
Kate: Personally, I'm a fan of my post about why you shouldn't let Pinterest give you unrealistic expectations for your wedding! I also really stand behind my post about why I did not change my last name when Adam and I got married. It was scary putting something that personal out there on the Internet and I was prepared for a lot of backlash -- but I was amazed at how kind and supportive everyone was! That's why I love blogging!
Adam: Let me see...well I've commented on Ben Affleck as Batman, Why Merida trumps Ariel, and why Ryan Gosling tops Ryan Reynolds. All of these things are very near and dear to my heart haha. Peace!

That's still by far my favorite clip to watch. I'm overly ridiculous about this Iron Bowl, but I can't wait for it!
LOVE ME SOME FLORKENS!!
I could have sworn that relatable is a word but the red squiggly line seems to disagree with me. Thank you for pimping out my post!!
yessss, love me some Phil
We really are just so weird. I mean, who forms such deep friendships with people that could essentially be catfishing us? Weirdos like us bloggers, I too love it!
I really like The Florkens :)
