The weekend I didn't take any pictures

Hello all, and happy Monday! I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend, because I know I did. It wasn't fantastic in that I did anything extraordinary, but it was fantastic in that AUBURN IS GOING TO THE BCS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP and I also got all my Christmas shopping done. Two wins, in my eyes.

Friday, we house sat for some family friends of Derek's. I have never house sat before and I can say the weirdest thing was sleeping in someone else's bed. But they're dogs were adorable and they have over 1000 acres of land so we spend a lot of time cruising around on the mule looking for deer (we saw five).

Saturday, was of course the day of the Auburn/Mizzou game and it was the most stressful game I have ever watched. In the end, Auburn won, this time with no miraculous last second touchdown, and I was happy. Then it was time to watch the Ohio State/Michigan State game, which would determine Auburn's future as well. Ohio State won, Auburn would still be third in the BCS and would have gone to the Sugar Bowl. If Ohio State lost, Auburn would be second and they would go to the NC game and face FSU. Obviously I was cheering for Michigan State in what was the second most stressful game of my life. Thankfully they pulled it out and Auburn's goin' to the ship!

Sunday we were supposed to ride some trails on our new bikes, but the weather just wasn't cooperating so I went Christmas shopping instead.

When we got our bikes, we got free glassware and I've been using my James Bros. Bikes mug nearly every day. Obviously Christmas shopping requires a little Christmas cheer so I wore green plaid and pretended like I was enjoying myself because in reality Christmas shopping stresses me out. I mean, what the hell kind of gifts are you supposed to get your in-laws (or in my case my boyfriend's parents)?

Did you get all of your Christmas shopping done this weekend?

i find a decent bottle of wine and homemade baking does the trick for the in-laws. unless you have money to spend and then set up a little date night for them, gift card to a specific restaurant and a movie theater or something like that.

I find it incredibly hard figuring out what to get the bfs parents too! This year I've decided on making them a wreath and possibly wine glasses since his mom mentioned wanting one. Good luck!

I'm the WORST at taking pics so don't feel bad, girl! I've been trying to get better but sometimes I just forget... or don't have anything to take pictures OF! I only have a few more things to get... but I know what they are and I know where to go so I'm not worried about it. I'm definitely glad most of it is done though!
