When you don't blog for five days

Holy moly macaroni you guys, it's been forever since I've even thought about my blog, or it feels like it anyway. I haven't written, read, stressed, or done anything blog related since Wednesday, and I've actually really enjoyed it. I've also done A LOT of activities between now and then, so I'll catch you up on some of them.

Thanksgiving was enjoyed at my Dad's Aunt and Uncle's house with about 20 other family members, and it was a blast. Last year it was only us and my Aunt + her family (about 8 total) so having a big dinner was a lot of fun, and I loved getting to see cousins I hadn't seen in a while. We didn't take too many pictures because we were all too busy stuffing our faces, and Mom and Dad wanted to leave so they could get back in the woods to hunt.

My handsome little broski

Can you say Christmas cards?
Of course I had to include my sweet babies. If you follow me on instagram, you'll know that my Stevie cat went missing on Tuesday night after she was hurt, and didn't come home until late on Wednesday. Thankfully she wasn't any worse off, but her paw was still swollen, and still is now. We are taking her to the vet today since the swelling hasn't gone down, in case there is infection. Please keep my sweet baby in your thoughts!

Friday I had the time of my life with Ashten and Meg but you'll have to come back tomorrow for a full recap.

Saturday, we of course went to Auburn to watch what will probably go down as one of the greatest Iron Bowls in history. It's already been dubbed "Kick, Bama, Kick." A few weeks ago, I talked about the one of the oldest SEC rivalries, Auburn vs. Georgia. This week was the Iron Bowl (Auburn vs. Alabama) which may not be the oldest, but it is probably the biggest, and most anticipated game of the season.

The game was coming to an end with a 28-28 score and one second on the clock. Alabama went for a 57 yard field goal, which fell short. Auburn's Chris Davis caught the ball in the end zone and ran it for a 109 YARD TOUCHDOWN and Auburn won the 2013 Iron Bowl.

The final play of the game... so amazing

That day, Derek and I also bought our Christmas presents... brand new Mountain bikes! We took them on their first trail on Sunday, and my butt bones are definitely still feeling it today.

Under the Christmas tree!

Derek's mom caught this on her phone while his dad was snapping with the camera. As usual, having to convince him to smile.
Taking a break on a pretty bridge during our ride yesterday
I couldn't believe he actually posed for me!
If you made it to the end of this crazy long post, kudos to you. I guess that's what happens when you don't blog for five days. Also if you made it to the end, in honor of Auburn's awesome win and "Cyber Monday" all ads are 50% off using the code WAREAGLE until midnight!

AND if you've made it to the end and only looked at the pictures, that's okay because I really just want you to read this part. Tomorrow Amber of Mr. Thomas and Me is hosting her monthly Say Yes Project link-up series. If you've said yes to anything that you wouldn't normally say yes to recently or tried something new, share it with us and link up tomorrow!

"When you want to say no, or when you do say no, change your answer and try yes. Then, enjoy it. Or dread it. Or hate it. But, be glad you said yes. Be it to a night out, a new food, big or small, adventurous or mundane, just change your answer" --Amber, Mr. Thomas and Me

That game. My whole restaurant erupted in screams. And we're a classy, quiet establishment for the most part....

Also, I don't know why, but in your "Christmas card photo" the first thought I had when seeing it on Instagram was "They look so Southern!"

Between the Georgia game and this game, I'm convinced that Auburn has some crazy good luck on their side!! Congrats on the new bikes!

Also..I was in shock after the Alabama/Auburn game! As an FSU fan...I wasn't sure what I was rooting for, but I'm so glad Auburn won!

I know you'll appreciate this: the last two pictures just make me thinking of the 7th Harry Potter movie: Harry Potter and friends go camping. Just because of the trees. i like all of your pictures. And the words.
