My first ever beach vacation

I know what you're thinking... "First beach vacation? But Kalyn you live so close to the beach, how can this be your first beach vacation?" Or maybe you weren't thinking that but now you are. Being that I lived about an hour away from the beach growing up, we never made a "vacation" out of it... it was always just day trips or a weekend here or there. The same is true now that I live three hours away. I don't consider a weekend trip a real vacation.

But last week was. A real vacation that is. With time off from work and a three story condo and 17 people I've never met that may possibly turn in to my in-laws one day. So without any further adieu, here is a plethora of photographs that captured our magical week on the Atlantic coast of Florida.

I could get used to waking up to this view every day

I had the absolute best time, and from now on, week-long vacations will be a regular occurrence in my life.

I love about 30 minutes from the beach and took my first "beach vacation" about 4 years ago. I get what you're saying. I never considered a beach the place for vacation, I was constantly surrounded by it. I so agree that it is a necessity now though!

Week long vacations are a MUST!!! I love beach vacations. They are soooo relaxing and so carefree. You are that person who isn't afraid to hold the animals!! I'm that person who is almost scared to look at them. Glad you had a great time.

That snake picture gave me instant goosebumps!

Can we please also discuss how AMAZING your hair is in every picture?! Makes me want to chop all my hair off (if only it would look that good!)

The beach!!!! We are heading to the beach next week and I can not wait! Just a few days, not for a week...but I will take anything!

I have a ridiculous question, because I am a ridiculous person. But those sunglasses look like that have a metal frame...did they get hot? My plastic framed glasses dont bother me and I really wanted to buy a different pair to take to the beach in case I loose them but I was scared to buy metal and they burn my face off. Haha.
